Thoughts

I had no idea Jenny has passed away, the work she did portrays the person she was.

Jenny completely took me under her wing when I joined the Refugee Resettlement team. Working as a duo alongside the Ukraine Response, it wasn’t long before I realised she was so much more than a colleague but a friend, role model and absolute bundle of fun to work with. I’ll be forever in awe of her knowledge, kindness, compassion and how she so naturally brought everyone together as a team. As anyone who worked with Jenny will know, she would go to any length to overcome hurdles and support refugees in the best way possible. I’ll miss her cheeky laugh, the little winks to me when she knew she was pushing boundaries, her determination to get things done, her warmth, support and of course the little message that would pop up after a challenging week saying … ‘wine and whine?’ Jenny’s influence will always be with me and when I find myself in challenging situations at work, I always try to remind myself of what Jenny would have done. I’m so honoured to have known Jenny and will treasure the memories forever. All my love, thank you for everything Jenny x x x

Such a lovely, helpful, kind and compassionate lady, who was ALWAYS smiling! I had the pleasure of working with Jenny as part of the Homes for Ukraine response at Dorset Council. Taken far too soon. Sending my condolences and much love to all of Jenny's family, friends and work colleagues xx
